1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website and mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using the service.

2. Membership Eligibility

The COFFED portal is intended for use by members of Primary Fisheries Cooperative Societies in Bihar and Jharkhand. To register as an online member, you must:

• Be a citizen of India and a resident of the operational area.
• Be actively involved in fisheries or related activities.
• Provide valid identity proof (Aadhaar) and bank details.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your membership account.

4. Membership Fees & Payments

Registration fees are determined by the Board of Directors of COFFED. All payments made through the portal are subject to the following:

• Transactions are processed via secure third-party gateways.
• Users must ensure they have the necessary authority to use the selected payment method.
• Membership is only activated after successful verification of the payment (Instant for online, 2-3 days for manual).

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of BIHAR RAJYA MATSYAJIBI SAHAKARI SANGH LIMITED and its licensors.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall COFFED, nor its directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service or inability to access the portal.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the Bihar Cooperative Societies Act, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
